My what a busy month August is! Here is a summary of the next two weeks.
Robert is hosting a pavilion scrubbing party in Blue Lake on Friday, August 3rd. This is the day before the Pas d’Armes, and will be held at the same site. Come bring your pavilions so we can have clean canvas for the Pas. Volunteers who wish to help clean the Barony pavilion are heartily welcomed.
The Pas d’Armes is this Saturday, August 4th. Come bring your finest armor, your most splendid garb, and prepare for a tournament celebrating chivalry and courtesy.
The Knights Errant are visiting Allyshia with a host of 10+ warriors on Saturday, August 11th for a fighter practice and heavy fighting class. Following the fighting there will be a barbeque where we will feed the Knights Errant to thank them for their efforts. Please bring a suitable side dish and cash to purchase meat for the grill.
There is a work party to be held at the Heron’s Pool site (the field next to Mad River Hospital). We will be painting and repairing the Tavern, so wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little paint on. Please attend and help out! Rick Horton generously allowed us to use this site for Heron’s Pool in exchange for our assistance with his Medieval Faire.
The Arts & Sciences Meeting on August 13th is cancelled! We will see you all next week.
