We’d love to post photos you have taken at events, photos of projects you have made, original poems or songs, tutorials, and/or other creative works. That being said, we also must respect copyright laws. The Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc. (SCA) has set forth rules for using pictures and other creative works on official SCA websites. No photo or other creative work can be posted to the website without the appropriate release forms.

Release Form FAQs – An overview of what release forms are required for pictures and other creative works to be posted to an SCA website.
Photograph Grant of Use Form – Fillable PDF – The release form for photographers. This form is required for all photographs. If you check the “Perpetual Grant of Use” when completing the form it will also cover all future photographs you submit for website publication. You can revoke this authorization at any time.
Model Release Form – Fillable PDF – The release form for any people in the photograph. Please check the Release Form FAQ to see if this is necessary for your photo(s). If you check the “Release for All Photos” box when completing this form it will also cover all other photographs of you submitted for website publication. You can revoke this authorization at any time.
Creative Work Grant of Use Form – Fillable PDF – The release form for anyone who wishes to submit poems, songs, stories, works of art, etc. that they have created. Please refer to the Release Form FAQ above to see if this is required for your submission. Each creative work must have a separate release form.
